Major Routes to Canada

Point Based System: Canada Skilled Worker Immigration Canada Skilled Worker Immigration is a point based system which Canada employs to check the eligibility of an applicant. As per this system, a candidate must score at least 67 points to clear the threshold of requirements. Points are given depending on various factors:
- Factor 1 : Education : Maximum 25 points are Awarded
- Factor 2 : English and French Ability : Maximum 24 points are Awarded
- Factor 3 : Work Experience : Maximum 21 points are Awarded
- Factor 4 : Age : Maximum 10 points are Awarded
- Factor 5 : Arranged Employment : Maximum 10 points are Awarded
- Factor 6 : Adaptability : Maximum 10 points are Awarded

Mandatory Condition for all: The applicant must also meet the requirements of good health and nil criminal record to get visa successfully. Working Holiday Program in Canada Citizens of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Republic of Korea, Sweden and the United Kingdom can immigrate to Canada under Temporarily Employment Programs meant for people with age between 18 – 35 years. A 12 months employment authorization is permitted under this program. Working Holiday Maker Program for UK Citizens Eligibility Conditions
- Applicant must have a UK citizen passport.
- Candidate’s age should be between18–35.
- Applicant must be a student of an eligible university
- Applicant must have at least £500 funds (apart from airfare) to show, which may be required for accommodation, food and travel.
Candidates who can meet the above requirements can get 3-12 month working holiday maker visa for Canada. However, 12 month visa is awarded to only those who are able to show least£500, in addition to the airfare.
Even if you do not have a job offer from a Canadian employer, you can still get work visa if entries in annual quota for UK citizens are not full. No Points for Restricted Occupations There are certain RESTRICTED OCCUPATIONS for which Canada does not award any work experience points to the applicants. National Occupation Classification (NOC) List If you hold experience relevant to any of the below given occupations, it must be within the last ten years of applying and must be apt for the nominated occupation.
